The app enhances longitudinal studies designed in REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) by replacing email-based survey links with an engaging mobile experience that leverages calendar and push notification functionality. MEDCap is secure. All protected health information (PHI) is written directly to your institution's REDCap secure data storage environment -- and nowhere else. This eliminates the overhead and risks associated with maintaining a HIPAA compliant server or dedicated instance with a cloud-based storage service provider.
